Abstract
ESTE TRABAJO OFRECE UNA PEQUEÑA GUÍA DE LAS ÚLTIMAS TENDENCIAS EN LA INVESTIGACIÓN ACERCA DE LOS MERCADOS FINANCIEROS. PARTIENDO DE LA HIPÓTESIS DE QUE LOS MERCADOS SON SISTEMAS COMPLEJOS EN EVOLUCIÓN, CONSIDERAMOS DOS PERSPECTIVAS. POR UN LADO, COMENTAMOS LA APLICACIÓN DE MODELOS PROVENIENTES DE LA FÍSICA, TANTO BASADOS EN AGENTES REPRESENTATIVOS HOMOGÉNEOS, COMO SI FUESEN PARTÍCULAS DE GAS, COMO AGENTES HETEREOGÉNEOS CON ALGUNAS CARACTERÍSTICAS Y ESTRATEGIAS BÁSICAS QUE APROXIMAN A LAS HIPÓTESIS MÁS COMUNES SOBRE EL COMPORTAMIENTO DE LOS AGENTES EN UN ENTORNO DE SIMULACIÓN DE LOS MERCADOS FINANCIEROS. ESTOS DOS TIPOS DE MODELOS BASADOS EN LA FÍSICA CONFORMAN LO QUE HA EMPEZADO A LLAMARSE ECONOFÍSICA. POR OTRO LADO, DEFINIMOS LA TEORÍA DE LA COMPLEJIDAD DESDE VARIAS PERSPECTIVAS, Y DESCRIBIMOS LOS MODELOS DE SIMULACIÓN DE LOS MERCADOS FINANCIEROS MÁS POPULARES BASADOS EN DICHA TEORÍA.© 2018, Facultad de Contaduría y Administración, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
