Abstract
THIS PAPER PRESENTS THE RESULTS OF OBSERVING FOUR (4) NETWORKS THAT DO BUSINESS IN THE AGRICULTURE SECTOR IN COLOMBIA: GROWERS OF COFFEE, BANANAS, FL OWERS AND PRODUCERS OF DAIRY PRODUCTS. THE RESEARCH WAS DESIGNED FOLLOWING THE GROUNDED THEORY METHOD. PARTICULARLY, AXIAL CODING WAS APPLIED TO RELATE THEORETICAL DESIGN VARIABLES TO OBSERVED NETWORK BEHAVIORS WITH THE PURPOSE OF IDENTIFYING CRITICAL DESIGN FACTORS FOR THE ORGANIZATIONS UNDER STUDY.
