Abstract
La raza humana evoluciona gracias a que es capaz de superar situaciones críticas. Hemos desarrollado la ciencia y la tecnología a niveles insospechados, pero las enfermedades y el hambre nos siguen asechando. El desarrollo de la ciencia y la tecnología nos han aportando la biología molecular, la cibernética y las tecnologías de la comunicación e información que están cambiando de manera radical la forma de vida de una parte de la población; sin embargo, la contaminación ambiental y las enfermedades relacionadas con el desarrollo económico se incrementan.
