Abstract

The organizations of the 21st century face a dynamic and complex environment characterized by uncertainty, so you must be prepared to respond to changes to achieve their organizational objectives to help them achieve business competitiveness; in this context are include the small and medium-sized en­terprises (SMEs), then for their structural features you typically find at a disadvantage with respect to the large enterprises that have access to greater resources and capabilities. The purpose of the research was to measure the influence of strategic planning and management skills as internal factors in the Business Competitiveness perceived by businessmen of SMEs in Hermosillo, Sonora. A mixed investigation was performed, where the first phase consisted of an analysis based on a panel of experts (Delphi method), with the purpose of validating the measuring instrument (apparent validity) through the opinions of the experts and the second phase was a statistical analysis technique of structural equations PLS models. The results show that strategic planning and management skills as internal factors of the SMEs influence in business competitiveness.
